The World According to...

I've learned many things, mostly from television, movies, and video games. But that counts... right?

The more I play KotOR 2 the more I think about how it actually and so much potential, and how there are really good things about it. And that makes me angry because it was rushed and could have been a really good sequel to like the best RPG I played when i was younger.

Star Wars: May The Fourth Be With You

It has been decades after the release of the first Star Wars movie and the world is still in love with them. There is a eerie quiet upon the Earth as people wait with bated breath. The evil Disney Empire acquired rights to the franchise and vowed to release a new movie. Only time will tell if it is like Episode IV or like Episode I…

Fuck your canon male Revan bullshit, SWTOR.

And yet, everyone is free to agree or disagree with your HEADCANON.
I for one disagree.
So, nice sign to make those who disagree feel shitty for liking the canon we have.

I’m thrilled that my sparkly sign was apparently so threatening. Keep on being a whiny piece of shit.

I don’t know for sure because I never played it, but wasn’t canon Revan female? As of KOTOR2, I mean?

Actually, yes. In the part of KotOR 2 where you set up the KotOR 1 choices, (this was before the import system was a thing) Revan is referred to as a woman by default, which you can choose to correct to male if you so wish. If you state you don’t care about Revan’s gender, the game assumes female Revan as well.

But Revan is only referred to as a woman by the same character that wanted the female player character to walk around in her undies. But seriously there is nothing wrong with liking either female Revan or male Revan. Because male Revan marries Bastila Shan and doesn’t make a big deal about her keeping her maiden name thus why we get the total bad-ass great grand daughter or whatever she is as a Jedi Master in SWtOR. And if you go dark side, then they just go out into deep space together to stop the true Sith from returning (obviously they didn’t do a good job.)
But female Revan gets to marry Carth, and who the fuck doesn’t love Carth? It’s like not liking T3-M4 or wanting a double bladed light-saber. And although there isn’t any canonical info about female Revan and Carth, you know that they would have had bad ass kids and that Carth probably would have taken her name… if Revan even has a last name.
I’m just saying you can like Revan as a female whilst someone else can like Revan as a male, and there isn’t anything wrong with it and you know why? Because BioWare fucking let you create the story your own fucking way. If you want to play as a character that doesn’t have time to fall in love and just follow the true path of a Jedi you can. If you want to play a character will do what ever it takes to succeed and fall in love, and end up getting gray and creaked skin with red eyes you can. That is why KotOR was so good and commercially successful, because it was an RPG where your ailment actually affected the out come of the story, sure it ultimately ends in you dueling Darth Malek, but if you choose the Dark Side yo have to kill like half of your crew. And then you only get one Jedi besides yourself in the end. Plus you throw the Republic into chaos, but if you choose the Light you get another chance at turning Bastila back to the light which you obviously do since at that point Revan (male or female) is a bad ass. And you help save the Republic once again.
So basically ain’t nothing wrong with any of the Revans. because even through BioWare had to pick one of the four possible Revans for a back story in SWtOR doesn’t mean any other Revan can’t be canon.

gonna write a movie review about Star Wars for my film history class,

note to self do not say “Star Wars is greatest film in the world.” Apparently that is biased and opinionated and is bad when writing a good review to say just how pure awesome sauce a movie is.  Even if it is true.

Warwick Davis On Doctor Who And Star Wars Sequels | SFX

‘Willow’ and ‘Star Wars’ actor Warwick Davis admitted that the Cybermen “were always scary to me. I was one of those kids who hid behind the sofa, so I know they are scary. But the Cybermen that I saw were awesome and yeah I think it’ll be scary.
“I mean, it was an exciting moment to come face-to-face with one of those dudes. Seriously, it was a great thrill. I mean, it was a great thrill to be in Doctor Who. A career ambition. But to be in an episode written by Neil and to have Cybermen in it, was for me the jackpot.

Davis will appear in an upcoming episode of Doctor Who Series 7.
